A tour to learn and enjoy multiculturalism in Oizumi Town, Gunma Prefecture (you will take home one souvenir from “Brazil”) Oizumi Town is the smallest town in Gunma Prefecture, and can be reached in about two hours by train from Tokyo. When you get off the train at “Nishi-Koizumi” station in Oizumi Town, you will suddenly find yourself in a “foreign country,” which is hard to imagine from the smallest town in Gunma Prefecture. Oizumi Town is an international town where foreigners make up 20% of the population. A little more than half of them are Brazilians. How did Oizumi become an international town? While learning about the history of the town, we will think about multiculturalism. Join the tour and enjoy the feeling of traveling abroad with us! Period of stay in Tokyo, Japan: About 2 weeks. When not going out on tour to Oizumi Town, your stuffed animal will relax in our new Shibuya office or take a walk around the Shibuya neighborhood. What to bring: Your stuffed animal does not need to bring anything in particular, but if he/she has clothes, a camera, travel essentials, etc., it would be helpful if you put them in a small bag. We recommend that the stuffed animal is around 20 cm tall, 15 cm wide, and weigh about 200 grams (the total of the three sides of the box must be within 60 cm), but please inquire with us if you have a chubby stuffed animal.
